The Daily Mail UK correctly compares Rihanna's current fearless branding to Lady Gaga.
Coincidentally, I've been reading about matriarchies and Amazonian women over at Anne of Carversville.
It seems certain that the Tiger Woods scandal will impact women's fashion magazine editorial -- as the ultimate sexual power statement about men who deserve it all.
Do we see even more warrior princesses coming in fashion?
Until now my summer focus has been African dictators and the flogging of women. This Tiger twist must percolate in my brain, but we will see it dramaticized in fashion -- perhaps Italian or French Vogue and the high-end fashion press.
Not to worry, guys. Glamour won't be taking up the issue with any John and Lorena Bobbitt recreations. That might get too close to home. Anne
